Global Happiness Alliance
The United Nations General Assembly declared March 20th as the International Day of Happiness in its Resolution 66/281 on June 28th, 2012. The resolution recognizes that happiness and well-being are universal goals and aspirations of all human beings around the world, and that acknowledging their importance in public policy objectives is of great significance. The resolution also acknowledges the need for more inclusive, equitable, and balanced economic growth to promote sustainable development, eradicate poverty, and enhance the happiness and well-being of all people.
The Global Happiness Alliance was initiated in 2019 by the Social Entrepreneurs with Integrity Association (SEIA Singapore-Malaysia) in collaboration with the Royal Eutok Geomba Monastery in Bhutan.
Our purpose is to affirm that happiness and well-being are universal goals and aspirations in human life around the world. Through the exchange of various Eastern and Western philosophies, views, experiences and spiritual traditions, we seek to collaboratively explore initiatives or areas of improvement that advance a new human spiritual civilization with a higher level of spiritual awareness and thinking, anchored on morality, civility, and integrity, with love at its core.
In May 2024, the inaugural Happiness Forum was held in Bhutan, hosted by the Global Happiness Alliance team within SEIA Singapore-Malaysia. Subsequent and future Happiness Forums will be co-organized by the EU-China Commission, Nanyue Juexing Art and Culture Foundation, as well as the Taiwan-Bhutan Cultural and Economic Association, working together to advance spiritual awakening guided by our 7+1 Core Values, in pursuit of the creation of joint happiness found in spiritual and economic balance.
全球幸福组织联盟
联合国大会在2012年6月28日通过的第66/281号决议中宣布每年3月20日为国际幸福日，确认幸福和福祉是全世界人类生活中的普世目标和愿望，具有现实意义，在公共政策目标中对此予以承认具有重要意义。又确认需要采取更包容、公平和平衡的经济增长方式，以促进可持续发展，消除贫穷，增进全体人民的幸福和福祉。
2019年由新加坡马来西亚诚信社会企业家协会，联合不丹皇家Eutok Geomba Monastery 发起全球幸福组织联盟。
以「确认幸福和福祉是全世界人类生活中的普世目标和愿望」为宗旨。透过东方与西 方哲学理念与高维精神文化交流促进全球幸福力，以道德文明诚信诺爱为核心，共同 建构新人类精神文明与生活模式。
2024年5月于不丹举办幸福论坛，由全球幸福组织联盟，新加坡马来西亚诚信社会企业家协 会主办:欧盟中国委员会、南玥觉性艺术文化基金会、台湾不丹文化经济协会共同承 办，开启觉性精神与思维为核心价值，共同探讨新人类文明发展，运用7+1概念定位， 创造经济与精神幸福力。

Our mission
The Global Happiness Alliance seeks to provide a unique communication platform to pursue and create the joint happiness found in spiritual and economic balance. With cultural heritage and innovation as our main axis, and by extension, our 7+1 Core Values of governance and policy, civil society, agriculture and food, health care, new energy (energy efficient environmental protection), information technology, eco-communities and other relevant areas where available, we seek to promote the exchange of diverse Eastern and Western philosophies, views, experiences and spiritual traditions, and collaboratively explore initiatives or areas of improvement to advance a new spiritual human civilization with a higher level of spiritual awareness and thinking.

CIVIL SOCIETY
Civil society serves as a bridge between people and government; and/or other relevant organizations, to coordinate resources and promote sustainable community development. Through collaboration and resource sharing between diverse communities, we assist in the creation of livelihood skills, that facilitates and enables a harmonious society where everyone thrives together.

AGRICULTURE & FOOD
Our core focus is to protect Earth’s ecosystem and promote human well-being, with emphasis on self-sufficiency and sustainable development through organic agriculture, free from chemical fertilizers and pesticides. We leverage smart technology to create intelligent farming and advance food research, the aim is to enhance crop productivity, quality, and safety, address food crises, and protect both human and environmental health.

HEALTH CARE
We emphasize a holistic health model that balances between body, mind, and spirit through the development of an inclusive medical system. Where both conventional medicine and holistic healing therapies are equally valued; and preventive health practices are essential for achieving complete wellness. We also actively promote contingency planning in support of post natural disaster and outbreak of epidemic diseases actions.

NEW ENERGY(Energy Efficient Environmental Protection)
We advocate the use of renewable energy by harnessing resources from nature, utilizing recyclable materials and resources for construction, and reducing energy consumption to improve the environment and lower our carbon footprint, that protect the ecological environment and achieve harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. We encourage new ways of living through sustainable development education and community co-governance.

Our ultimate goal is to help people understand the interconnectedness and interdependence of all life on Earth, the relationship between our earthly community and the Universe, and strive to create a peaceful, loving and sustainable world.

Our History
2011 - SEIA Established
SEIA was established in 2011 as a non-governmental organization and is headquartered in Singapore. Its global offices located in Malaysia and Taiwan.
Through its strategic partnerships with international organizations from both the public and private sector, SEIA strives to deliver initiatives that reinvigorate the global economy, rebuild environmental health, and re-establish cultural ethics.
2015 - Penang Hanwang Sustainable Development International Forum 2015
In partnership with Penang State Government and Beijing International Sustainable Development Committee, SEIA co-constituted the Inaugural Penang Hanwang Sustainable Development International Forum in 2015. The forum converges international stakeholders, thought leaders and governmental leaders in high-level meetings and agendas to strategically deepen cultural and economic ties between ASEAN and China.
2017 - Promise made
In 2017, a late-blooming love in Bhutan gave birth to Blessing College; In 2019, at Tiger’s Nest Monastery, a knee was bent, a promise made, a timeless quest. In 2023, after five tumultuous years, through love and trust, our promise was fulfilled.
2019 - Global Happiness Alliance
The Global Happiness Alliance, initiated in 2019 by SEIA (Singapore-Malaysia) and and the Royal Buddhist Academy of Bhutan, Eutok Geomba Monastery, affirms happiness and well-being as universal human aspirations. Through the exchange of Eastern and Western philosophies, and spiritual traditions, to jointly explore and develop a new spiritual human civilization rooted in morality, civility, integrity and love.
2024 - SHIFU college opening
Shi-Fu College provide a cohesive space for policymakers, civil society organisations, religious leaders, and relevant stakeholders from around the world to engage in philosophical discourse, cultural exchanges, education, and dialogue to share inspirations and practices that advance global happiness, and address urgent environmental and ethical challenges faced by the world today.
The official ground breaking ceremony for the Bhutan Shi-Fu College was held on 4th Oct 2017. The Guest-of-Honour (GOH) who officiated the ceremonial was The Royal Grandmother of Bhutan. On 11th May 2024, Shi-Fu College celebrates its grand opening in royal splendor, in gratitude for your endless care and support.
2024 - HAPPINESS FORUM ESTABLISHED
The Happiness Forum is a collaborative platform for NGOs, entrepreneurs, scholars, and experts worldwide. Centered on the core value of mindfulness, it aims to formulate solutions that impact government policies, civil society, agriculture, healthcare, green energy, IT, eco-communities, and culture. The forum fosters East-West exchanges of perspectives, exploring new initiatives and advancements for human civilization, aiming to achieve happiness through a balance of spiritual and economic well-being.
